Front-end web developer

Precision
A passion for precision is why I am a developer
For me, it all started in the late 1970s when I watched my cousin build an IMSAI 8080 computer in his basement. 20 years later I stumbled upon an article about this new world wide web thing and I knew I found my calling.
I was fortunate to be living in Austin during the late 1990s and cut my teeth with early Austin startups Lone Star Internet and Human Code. I also worked for Liaison Creative + Marketing as a web developer contracted to 3M. These provided great opportunities to work with, and learn from, many talented project managers, designers and other developers.
Most of my experience is as a web front-end developer and project manager. I work in all phases of the web development life cycle including gathering requirements, timeline and cost estimating, designing solutions, development, documentation, user training, maintenance, troubleshooting, and managing a developer team. I’ve built responsive Bootstrap websites using HTML, JavaScript and CSS, and WordPress sites. I am currently focused on using Microsoft’s SharePoint, Power Apps and Power Automate to build enterprise intranet sites..
In my non-developer life I am a joyful Catholic that enjoys PC sim racing, cooking, reading, watching soccer and spending time with my lovely wife Tracy and our dog and three cats, all rescues.
